About Tirzepatide Hub
What this site is, who runs it, how pages and calculators are sourced and checked, and how to reach the editorial team.
Tirzepatide Hub is a reference site for one molecule. It exists because the useful facts about tirzepatide are scattered across two prescribing information documents, six SURMOUNT publications, several FDA notices and a manufacturer price list that keeps changing, and because most of the questions people have are arithmetic questions about dates, volumes and dollars.
What the site is
Three kinds of pages. Guides explain what the Zepbound and Mounjaro labels and the SURMOUNT trials say, with the section number or PubMed id next to each figure. Comparison pages put two things side by side: Mounjaro and Zepbound, tirzepatide and semaglutide, pens and vials. Cost pages track Lilly's published self-pay prices with the date each one was announced. Around them sit five calculators that take numbers from your prescription and do arithmetic on them: titration dates, syringe units for a vial concentration, the missed-dose window, adverse reaction rates by dose arm, and cost per month and per milligram.
Who runs it
The site is written and maintained by the FormBlends editorial team, which also publishes formblends.com. FormBlends operates a GLP-1 weight-loss program that dispenses compounded medication through licensed pharmacies, including compounded tirzepatide. That is a commercial interest and it is disclosed here, on the medical disclaimer, and wherever a page links to a FormBlends product. Compounded tirzepatide is not FDA approved and is not interchangeable with Zepbound or Mounjaro; this site says so wherever the distinction matters, including on pages that link to FormBlends.
How pages are sourced
- Label facts come from the current Zepbound and Mounjaro prescribing information on DailyMed (both revised 08/2026 at the time of writing), cited by section. When a label changes, the page changes and its updated date moves.
- Trial facts come from the primary publication, cited by PubMed id, or from the clinical studies section of the label where the label reports a figure the paper does not.
- Regulatory dates come from FDA documents: the December 19, 2024 declaratory order on the tirzepatide shortage, the approval announcements, and the FDA page on unapproved GLP-1 drugs.
- Prices come from Lilly's own announcements and pages, each with the date it was published or the date we accessed it. Prices on this site are never estimates.
- Numbers we cannot trace to one of those sources are not published.
How the calculators are built
Each calculation is a pure function in a shared library with automated unit tests that run before every deployment. The formula appears in full under each tool. Each tool carries an assumptions note with the date its sources were last checked. Inputs stay in your browser; nothing is sent, stored or pre-filled. The tools never choose a dose. They take the dose from your prescription and compute dates, volumes and costs from it.
Editorial rules
No reviews, testimonials, star ratings or named clinicians. No claim of medical review that did not happen. Plain sentences, second person where it helps, and no filler. Where this site covers ground that formblends.com also covers, it is written fresh from the label and the trials rather than copied.
